Ville Husso, the entrepreneur of the Savon Suuntaporaus company, started his career as a cable and line construction contractor in 2004. Horizontal drilling was initially primarily carried out using mole drainage and piling method. The contractor service was expanded to horizontal construction in 2010 with the acquisition of directional drilling machinery.
As a result of the development of the horizontal drilling business, the company decided to cease its cable and line construction operations and focus only on horizontal directional drilling construction.
The company currently has 3 Tracto-Technik ACS18 horizontal directional drilling rigs from the years of manufacture 2014, 2015 and 2017, with a collecting tray if necessary, and the Prime Drilling PD45 and Dupagro MR10DE rig combination system, year of manufacture 2020. All the directional drilling machines are also equipped with a rock drill.
The company began offering a hammer boring service in 2017 by purchasing the Geonex HZR400 horizontal DTH drilling rig and increased its capacity by investing in the Geonex HZR220 rig in 2019 and in the Geonex HZR610 rig in 2020.
